John, maybe you’ve heard: Trump is suing the IRS.

He’s asking for $10 BILLION in damages. He wants the American taxpayer to give him $10 billion — after he’s already pocketed something like $5 billion off the presidency over the course of his first year in office.

It’s about as clear an example of corruption as you’ll ever see.

Scott Bessent sat before me in a hearing today. He’s not only the Treasury Secretary, but the acting director of the IRS, too. He’s the guy who will transfer those funds to Trump. So, I asked him about it.

This isn’t a White House. It’s not a presidency. These are not serious public servants. This is a heist. Everything Trump does has one goal: Take people’s money — taxpayers, billionaires, foreign governments, investors, even his own die-hard supporters.

We’ve never seen anything like this in the history of our country, and I’m not going to stand for it.

I am going to keep holding Trump’s feet to the fire. I am going to fight like hell against this in the Senate. And I’ll be campaigning all year to help win back majorities in Congress this November.

That’s the only way to stop this and hold him accountable.
