THE "WIRE"
"The Wire" is a weekly e-bulletin of the Palm Beach County Republican Party. If you would like to submit an entry for it, please send your submission to [email protected] by 5:00 pm on Tuesday. The Wire goes out every Thursday, and includes announcements of upcoming club events, candidate announcements, notices from the Republican Party of Palm Beach County, and items of interest from related organizations.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING AN ENTRY
1.The images/flyer must be in jpg or png format and emailed as an attachment.
2. The images must be less than 5MB each; limit of two images per entry.
3. Flyers are most effective when the message is clear, simple, and concise. Strong visuals paired with large, easy-to-read fonts should highlight key details such as the topic, date, and time. Supporting or informational text should remain brief, with website links provided for additional background or event and speaker details.
4. Links to websites and email addresses should be in blue font and included within the body of the submission email. Links and emails inside the images will NOT function. Only QR codes will function within an image. Use of blue font for other than link text is discouraged.
5. Candidate flyers should present issue positions in a positive and constructive manner. Negative accusations directed at opponents should be avoided, as they can be difficult to substantiate and may shift focus from the issues to personal attacks. Derogatory advertising targeting Republican candidates in the same race is prohibited.
