John, it’s Valerie Foushee.
An outside group supporting my opponent just took out a HUGE ad buy against me, and with less than a month until primary election day we need to fight back. Will you chip in $10 or more to our emergency rapid response fund to help ensure our campaign can get our message out and push back on this attack?
My opponent and her allies are trying to turn this into a nationalized race, driven by outside money that doesn’t reflect the values or diversity of this district.
But John, I know this community because I come from it. From the Chapel Hill–Carrboro City Schools Board to the Orange County Board of Commissioners, and from the North Carolina State House to Congress, I’ve always been guided by the same commitment: showing up for the community that raised me.
That’s why my work in Congress reflects the real needs of this district: fighting back against Trump’s billionaire tax breaks, pushing for transparency and accountability in our government, and standing up for working families.
But there’s no sugarcoating this: We’re facing a really tough race against an opponent who’s supported by deep-pocketed outside organizations.
And with time running out in this competitive race, we need all hands on deck right now. If we don’t respond ASAP, it could cost us. Will you rush $10, $25, or whatever you can right now to our emergency rapid response fund to help us fight back?

I can’t thank you enough, John.
