[link removed] [[link removed]] A new report details what we've all been seeing: Trump’s VA cuts are hurting my fellow veterans' hard-earned care.

VA leader’s policies delaying care, destroying work force, report says

The Trump administration has already slashed 40,000 employees from the Department of Veterans Affairs, collapsing morale and throwing the agency into crisis. As a result, veterans are facing longer wait times for mental health care, life-saving medical research has been disrupted, and workers on the front lines have been pushed to the breaking point.

And they aren’t stopping there. In December, the VA announced plans to cut an additional 26,000 jobs from the Veterans Health Administration this year, only further putting at risk care and benefits for veterans who rely on the VA.

Make no mistake, John: This is all a part of Trump and his administration’s plan to dismantle and weaken the VA so much that they have an excuse to keep up their privatization grift.

I proudly wore the uniform and deployed several times in service to our country, so I sure as hell won’t sit back and watch Trump’s VA fail the people who gave so much to our country.

I’m fighting back against these pathetic efforts to gut and privatize the VA, and I’m standing up for my fellow veterans’ earned care. If you’re with me, please chip in now to support this fight and stand with our veterans → [[link removed]]

I’m a veteran of the Iraq War. My generation of veterans knows the toll of forever wars—and we saw too often how chicken hawk politicians recklessly send Americans to fight and then pinch pennies when it comes time to pay the cost of war.

And that’s exactly what this administration is doing now, John—slashing jobs at the VA at the expense of my fellow veterans’ earned care.

This is a betrayal. Period.

My fellow veterans and I signed a blank check when we stepped up to serve, and in return, our government made a sacred promise to deliver the care that we’ve earned. So I won’t stand by while this administration tries to sell the VA off to the highest bidder.

I won't stop fighting back against these attempts to gut and privatize the VA—and I need you with me. Help me stand up for my fellow veterans and defend the care we’ve earned by making a donation today → [[link removed]]
