Mike Rogers is yet another example of MAGA Republicans fighting for power so blindly that they forget a key part about running for office: You should actually live in the state you’re running in.
But John, we can’t afford to underestimate Mike Rogers.
We’re basically neck-and-neck in the polls, believe it or not.
And last quarter, Mike Rogers outraised us — not because of grassroots enthusiasm, but because he’s fundraising aggressively from mega donors and corporate interests who are happy to bankroll his campaign.
Unlike him, I don’t take any money from corporate PACs or AIPAC. If we’re going to win this race and beat Mike Rogers in the general election, it’s going to be because thousands of people decide to step up together.
