I’m coming to you with an urgent ask. The DHS Funding Bill is going up for a vote, and we need as many people as possible to call their Senators and Representatives.
ICE is actively making our communities less safe. They’re sending masked, untrained agents into cities across the country and ICE has been directly responsible for multiple deaths, assaults, violence, and intimidation against American citizens and immigrant communities alike.
We cannot continue down this path, and we cannot continue to give ICE carte blanche authority and billions of dollars to inflict violence.
This bill to fund ICE and DHS will come up for a vote on February 13th, and before then, we need to call our members of Congress and tell them not to approve the budget without ICE accountability, because we all deserve to feel and be safe in our communities.
