Re: Lily Tang Williams – Record-Breaking Fundraising Momentum & Why It Matters in NH-02

Dear Valued Supporters,

Lily Tang Williams is proving something important in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District: when you speak plainly about the issues that actually affect working families, the support follows, and it follows fast.

In 2025, Lily raised over $532,000 from donors. Every dollar came from individuals, small businesses, families, and Americans who believe in her message. In addition, with her own $120,000 personal loan to the campaign, total receipts reached over $652,000. That donor-raised number puts her ahead of every other Republican running for the U.S. House in New Hampshire this cycle in non-candidate, grassroots-raised dollars. She enters 2026 with more than $507,000 cash on hand, built almost entirely from donor support. She views that personal loan as her own investment in getting the fundraising operation up and running early, a down payment that helped turn thousands of supporters into donors.

On the spending side, the campaign used approximately $278,000 in 2025. Much of that went directly towards the costs of raising funds: email fundraising, digital advertising, direct mail, events, and outreach that turned interest into contributions. That is a normal and necessary part of building a strong donor base from the ground up, and the results speak for themselves: strong, sustained support from people across New Hampshire and beyond.

Even though she currently faces no challenger in the NH-02 Republican primary, Lily’s fundraising performance already surpasses that of congressional candidates in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District. Her lead in donor-raised money and cash-on-hand shows the kind of early momentum that matters most, the kind built from real people.

Her fundraising strength and her strong showing last cycle, when she was the Republican nominee, have so far kept a real primary challenger at bay. In a state like New Hampshire, where the primary is one of the latest in the country (typically early September), that deterrence is huge. It gives her a massive head start: more time to build an organization, more resources to reach voters, and more runway to lock in support before anyone else can mount a serious campaign.

She is also far ahead of where past Republican nominees in NH-02 stood at this same point in their cycles. At the end of the year before the election, previous non-incumbent nominees typically had $0 to $100,000 in cash on hand. Lily’s $507,000 puts her roughly 5 to 10 times ahead of the next-closest historical benchmark for this stage, a clear sign of the strength she is bringing to the table early.

NH-02 hasn’t been uncompetitive; rather, it’s been unchallenged. The margins we’ve seen are the product of minimal investment, not structural safety. In midterm elections, the district’s large share of undeclared voters, rural and exurban communities, and lower-propensity Democratic turnout create a fundamentally more volatile electorate than top-line results suggest. With real resources and a credible candidate, NH-02 tightens quickly, often faster than NH-01, because fewer voters are locked into partisan voting patterns and persuasion still meaningfully moves the outcome.

This is not her first time exceeding expectations. In 2024, as a candidate with no prior elected office, Lily over-performed every realistic forecast in the NH-02 Republican primary. She earned strong support across the district, outperforming predictions despite running against opponents with far more name recognition and institutional backing. That experience proved she can connect with voters and build real momentum, and the numbers in 2025 show she’s doing it again, even stronger.

She grew up under communism in China. She came to America with nothing, built a business from the ground up, and raised a family here. She knows what it feels like when government gets too big, too expensive, and too far removed from the people it’s supposed to serve. That background is not just biography. It is why she fights the way she does. And it is why regular people are stepping up to back her.

New Hampshire’s 2nd District is more Republican-leaning than many places, but do not let that fool you. The same entrenched interests, the same insider games, and the same refusal to listen to everyday taxpayers exist here too. Lily is running into many of the same hurdles any outsider faces when challenging the status quo: well-funded opponents, establishment networks, and a system that often rewards longevity over results.

Yet she has already built the strongest non-candidate fundraising operation among NH Republicans running for Congress this cycle, both in money raised and money in the bank. That matters. It means she can reach voters directly, tell her story without apology, and compete on the issues that actually keep Granite State families up at night: inflation, energy costs, border security, and government that spends like it is someone else’s money.

Every dollar Lily has raised is going towards one goal: making sure the people’s voice is heard louder than the lobbyists’ and the career politicians’. She is not asking for special treatment. She is asking for accountability. And the response from donors across New Hampshire and across the country shows that message is landing.

We are still early in this cycle, but the foundation is already stronger than almost anyone expected. To keep that momentum going, to make sure Lily has the resources to fight the fights that need to be fought, we need your help now.

If you believe New Hampshire deserves a representative who puts families first, who understands what real struggle looks like, and who will never forget where she came from, then please consider joining us with a contribution today.
