Last week, our days of action showed us that when we face challenges, Michiganders will always stand up for our neighbors.

On Protect Our Communities from DHS Brutality Day, we held a vigil where folks from every walk of life shared a common goal — keeping our community safe. When we’re under federal pressure, we have to stick together.

The Cost of Living Day of Action was a moment to come together and fight for affordability. The Continuum of Care Roundtable helped power CoC’s mission to provide federal funding to housing services and local governments to rehouse homeless individuals and families.

Michiganders look out for one another when faced with adversity, and Washington D.C. needs to follow suit. We need a Congress that brings the safety and affordability everyone deserves.
