Team,

I wanted to take a moment to explain how national Democrats evaluate House races — and what that tells us about the road ahead here in NV-03.
Since being elected, our campaign has been part of the DCCC’s Frontline Program, a designation reserved for incumbents in the most competitive House districts in the country. The DCCC uses data, past results, and national trends to determine which seats are most likely to be contested — and which campaigns are best positioned to win with the right resources.
Here’s why NV-03 is considered so competitive:
-
In 2024, I won re-election by just 2.74 percentage points, making it our slimmest margin yet.
-
Remarkably, NV-03 was one of only 13 House districts nationwide that voted for Donald Trump for President while still electing a Democrat to Congress. This shows the district’s voters make independent choices and underscores why both parties are focused on this seat.
In other words: this isn’t a safe or predictable seat. It’s a true swing district — and Republicans are already gearing up to target it again.
Being a Frontline race doesn’t mean we’re reacting late. It means we plan early, organize smartly, and make sure we’re prepared every step of the way — from voter outreach to budgeting to message discipline.
That’s how we’ve won tough races before. And it’s how we’ll do it again.
Please chip in today to make sure we have the resources to defend NV‑03, reach every voter, and stay ahead of the national Republicans targeting this seat. Your support right now can make the difference in keeping this district in Democratic hands.
Sustained support helps us stay visible, respond quickly to attacks, and keep connecting with voters — long before the TV ads and noise ramp up.
Thanks for being part of this team. It truly makes a difference.
