Last Saturday our National Committee had its first meeting of 2026. Here's the keynote. Our remarks review the current domestic and international scene, paying particular attention to the ICE deployment in the Twin Cities. Today the struggle for democracy in this country is centered in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Much depends on how it turns out. We're heartened by the response of the labor movement there who led a general strike of the people in -15 degree weather. Inspiring!
