The Chickadee Check-off isn't just for chickadees!

Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is responsible for the stewardship of Maine's inland fisheries and wildlife resources. This legislative mandate extends to *all* Maine species because they hold esthetic, ecological, educational, historical, recreational, and scientific value in Maine. Your contribution will support monitoring, research, conservation intervention, and habitat work for all kinds of birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and invertebrates, promoting biodiversity and ecological health across the state.
