Over these past few weeks, one of the questions I keep getting asked at campaign events is, “Why are you running for Congress?”
Here’s my answer. Colorado’s 8th District deserves a representative who will stop Donald Trump’s assault on our democracy and way of life, and to make sure Colorado remains a place where everyone can achieve their dreams.

I’ve spent my career fighting for hardworking Coloradans. I’ve helped fully fund our public schools for the first time in a decade, took on the big insurance companies to prevent them from delaying your care, and worked to lower housing costs and grow local jobs.
Right now, our country is in chaos. And the truth is, Donald Trump and Gabe Evans are making life harder for families like mine and yours.
They’re pushing an extreme agenda that cuts Medicaid, drives up prices, and strips away our fundamental freedoms. I can’t sit back and watch it happen. That’s why I’m running for Congress – because our democracy, our economy, and our future are on the line.
We need leadership that answers to Coloradans – not to Trump. Gabe Evans is the most vulnerable Republican in Congress, but I need you with me to flip this seat blue and bring real representation to the 8th District.
