Friend, today marks an important milestone in our effort to keep IL-17 blue and flip the House:

It's officially the start of early voting for the Illinois congressional primaries in many counties – all but Peoria County, where a Republican candidate is holding up the process – and just six weeks from the start of the race to the general election.

This is a key benchmark where we must show the strength of our grassroots, people-first movement. There are some really well-backed GOP challengers hoping to flip this seat red come November – but with your help, we’ll stop them in their tracks.

He’s making the rounds to boost MAGA candidates, prop up extremist policies, and flood districts like ours with chaos and lies.

Will you chip in $3 right now to support our on-the-ground voter outreach efforts? Unlike my opponents, I don’t rely on dark money outside groups or personal wealth to fund this campaign. I rely on supporters like you chipping in what you can, when you can.

I know what some of you may be thinking: “So what? Illinois is a blue state, you’ll be fine.”

But anyone who grew up here can tell you that’s simply not the case. In fact, I’ve joked that it’s really Eastern, Eastern Iowa as much as it’s Western Illinois. We have a strong, proud way of life that looks different than other parts of the state, bipartisan at best, but really nonpartisan.

That means we rely on knocking on every door, reaching every voter, and getting everyone mobilized and energized to win.

So believe me when I tell you how critical your support right now is to keeping IL-17 blue.

If you’re with me, please chip in $3 today. Your donation will go a long way in helping us reach every voter we need to win.

With thanks,

- Eric
