John,
We'll be completely blunt with you: The Trump Administration's Environmental Protection Agency is putting the health and safety of both people and wildlife in jeopardy right now.
Our public health and how we treat wildlife and our environment are impossible to separate. Can America's wildlife count on you to demand stronger environmental protections right now?
During the coronavirus pandemic, the Trump Administration made the dangerous decision to suspend the EPA's enforcement of vital public health and pollution regulations — effectively giving industries the greenlight to pollute our air, water, and land.
That's why we need 50,000 grassroots activists like you to condemn this decision to abandon their duty to protect our environment.
Over the past few years, we've watched the Trump Administration pursue an anti-environmental agenda. According to a New York Times investigation, at least 100 rollbacks of environmental protections have been completed or are in progress, including:
- 12 protections for wildlife and animals
- 27 controls for air pollution and emissions
- 19 safeguards to protect our land and water from drilling and extraction
- 42 other rules or regulations on everything from toxic waste to infrastructure
We should be making our environmental protections stronger — NOT weaker. If you agree, sign your name to demand the Trump Administration and the EPA protect our environment for people and wildlife.
We can't allow our government to choose profits over public health, our ecosystems, and our wildlife. We need your help to demand the Environmental Protection Agency stop giving industries an open license to pollute.
Will you help ensure a better future for all living beings? Sign the petition right now.
Thank you for standing up for people and wildlife today.
With determination,
Karla Raettig
