Friend,

Families across Florida are struggling to afford rent, groceries, and insurance. But instead of working on solutions to lower costs, my opponent — Rep. Hillary Cassel — is pushing dangerous legislation that pulls Florida deeper into fear-based politics.

A new legislative bill, HB 1471, that she’s backing shields key evidence used to label organizations as “domestic terrorist” groups from public scrutiny, reducing transparency and accountability.

That secrecy risks chilling free speech — especially on college campuses. This bill lets politicians decide what speech is allowed on college campuses and students face immediate expulsion and lifetime bans on financial aid for “promoting” groups the Governor doesn't like.

All while doing nothing to lower housing, insurance, or grocery costs for Florida families.

While people are worried about keeping a roof over their heads, she’s focused on culture-war politics designed to please Republican leadership in Tallahassee.

Floridians deserve better.

I’m running to focus on what actually matters: affordable housing, lower everyday costs, and a government that works for people instead of manufacturing outrage. But taking on a GOP-backed incumbent won’t be easy.

If you’re able, chip in today to help me defeat Hillary Cassel and flip this seat back to leadership that puts people first.
