Right now, working families across the country are being squeezed from every direction. Rent keeps rising. Groceries cost more every month. Healthcare is harder to afford than ever.

And while families struggle to keep up, Trump is using the federal government to give tax breaks, contracts, and special favors to his billionaire buddies and giant corporations.

That’s not leadership. That’s an oligarchy.

A handful of billionaires now hold more wealth than half of the country combined — and CEOs make hundreds of times more than the workers who actually keep our economy running.

That’s why I’m proud to co-sponsor the Defund the Oligarchs, Fund the People Resolution.

It draws a clear line between a corrupt system run by billionaires and the future working families deserve.

The resolution calls to:
* Break up corporate monopolies
* End pay-to-play politics
* Tax the rich fairly
* Invest in healthcare, housing, education, clean energy, and good jobs
* Strengthen unions and worker power
