John,

I've always believed something simple: the government should work for the people it serves. But right now, too many Americans don't feel that's true, and frankly, it's for good reason.

We have a sitting president who seems more focused on political games and personal grievances than on helping families get ahead.

His tariffs are driving up costs.

Rural communities are losing access to healthcare and critical funding that keeps hospital doors open.

Food for hungry Americans is treated like a bargaining chip by the administration.

Constitutional rights and freedoms are being trampled.

And instead of listening to the real struggles Americans are facing, the president of the United States has instead suggested that there should be no election in November. That we should just allow the status quo to continue without allowing the American people a chance to voice their dissatisfaction with their government.

That idea should stop every single one of us in our tracks, John.

Elections are how Americans make our voices heard; they're how we demand change when something isn't working. And to even suggest taking that away isn't just wrong, it's an insult to the people — and it's a direct, crystal clear threat to our democracy.

This moment calls for common sense leadership — and for Americans to stand up for our democracy. The 2026 election must happen. And we must elect leaders who will serve as a real check on this president — leaders who understand that progress comes from listening, not ignoring, and from bringing people together instead of tearing them apart.

That's why In This Together PAC exists, and it's exactly why your support right now matters so much. As we look toward Election Day, I'm asking you to chip in to help us support common sense leaders across the country. Every dollar helps us support candidates who believe in democracy, fairness, and doing the right thing, even when it's hard.
