While Republicans delay a critical vote on funding ICE, I refuse to stand by as our communities keep getting hurt.
Yesterday, I joined hundreds of people outside ICE headquarters to demand accountability from Kristi Noem and the Trump administration.
Real people are paying the price at the hands of ICE. That's why Kristi Noem has got to go. She has no respect for people nor the law.

John, this delay won’t change my position. If anything, it will only strengthen my resolve to treat this moment like the emergency it is for our communities.
Because you know what's especially frustrating? The hypocrisy.
When Republicans want to rush tax breaks for billionaires or push through extreme policies, they call it an “emergency.” But when immigrants are being kidnapped and Americans are being killed, they choose to delay and avoid accountability.
That tells you everything you need to know about why it’s so important we protect seats like mine.
