It has been one year since the GOP took full control of our federal government.

Under Speaker Johnson’s leadership, Republicans cut healthcare, education, and food assistance. They’ve pushed reckless tariffs that raise costs, handed tax breaks to the wealthy, and shut down the government rather than make healthcare affordable.

Congressional Republicans don’t care about acting on high costs, making healthcare affordable, or guaranteeing our basic economic security — they have failed us. And they only care about craven loyalty to an emperor without clothes.

Americans deserve leaders who are working for them, not themselves and the wealthy.
