Hi—
I want to be very clear and very practical with you.
We’re launching three new shows at Blue Amp Media. To do that well—not sloppily, not on fumes—we need to hire a producer and a video editor.
That’s it. That’s the ask.
Right now, BAM is run exceptionally lean. Most of the work you see—writing, booking, producing, editing, publishing—is being done by a very small team wearing too many hats. We’ve pushed it as far as we can without burning people out or lowering the quality you expect.
A producer means:
shows run on time
guests are booked and prepped
hosts can focus on content, not logistics
A video editor means:
faster turnaround
better clips
more reach for the work we’re already doing
This is not about growth for growth’s sake.
It’s about doing this the right way, because this is what we believe in.
That’s why we’re running the BAM Next Level Pledge Drive [ [link removed] ] right now. For a limited time, we’re offering 50% off monthly and annual subscriptions [ [link removed] ]. Every new paid subscription directly helps fund these two roles.
Here’s what we’re launching:
CounterStory Perspectives with Melissa Corrigan — Mondays at 2pm ET
Melissa is digging into tough topics and auditing the narrative of this political moment. Don’t miss her first show on Christian Nationalism with Tim Whitaker.
Deep Dive with Ellie Leonard — Fridays at 2pm ET
Ellie will be diving deep into her work as a citizen journalist—and how you can do the same kind of work she does, using whatever your best skills are.
Tequila Talk with Joe Walsh & Cliff Schecter — Thursdays at 6pm ET
Absolutely unmissable—two former political opponents, united by their hatred of fascism and their love of tequila. How could you not watch this?!
If BAM has been useful to you—if it’s helped you understand this moment, stay engaged, or feel less alone—this is the moment when support really matters.
The pledge drive runs through Friday, Feb 13 at 11:59pm ET.

Thanks for being here. We don’t take your support lightly—and we don’t do this work without it.
