But this database should concern any parent or anyone concerned about children's safety.

Schools are not supposed to be law enforcement agents. Schools should focus on educating children. Schools should not be declaring themselves sanctuary schools or safe havens from federal authorities, especially if they are, knowingly or not, shielding violent family members of their students from deportation.

Our list currently spans more than 700 school districts across 33 states and Washington, D.C.

These are just the school districts we have identified so far.

While some states, like California and Illinois, aren’t surprising, you may be shocked to learn that even states like Texas and Arizona are on the list.
