Happy Valentine's Day!

February is the month of love and connection, and this year, we are sharing resources that help educate and encourage our community to prioritize reproductive well-being for all. Access to birth control and abortions ensures that couples have the freedom to protect their sexual health.

Bedsider Educational Materials

Supporting your community in building healthy, informed relationships starts with reliable information. Our online patient education store offers evidence-based tearsheets and posters on birth control methods and emergency contraception. Designed to support clear, accurate patient conversations, these materials are ideal for clinics, classrooms, and community settings.

Your Story is Powerful

Sharing your story helps demonstrate why access to sexual and reproductive health care is essential and supports our efforts to expand reproductive well-being. At Power to Decide, we believe personal stories are the most powerful tools for advocacy and change. Whether you have found a birth control method through Bedsider, located a clinic using AbortionFinder, or utilized Bedsider Providers+ to better serve your community, we want to hear from you!

By sharing your experience through this form, you may be featured in our 2025 Annual Report.

SRH in the Media

Across the media, headlines continue to spotlight both the challenges and opportunities people face while navigating today’s chaotic and confusing reproductive health landscape.

Interim Co-CEO and VP of Policy and Strategic Partnerships, Rachel Fey, was featured on CNN discussing the impact of the latest Department of Veterans Affairs abortion ban:
Tell Me Lies Tells It Like It Is
Spoiler alert!

Tell Me Lies on HULU shares an abortion story that’s relatable to many. When accessing care, the character’s main obstacle to her abortion is the delay in getting an appointment. She is fully confident in her decision. It is, in fact, a relief. And, while many viewers relate to these feelings, this story is not often portrayed onscreen.

We are proud to work with TV shows, films, and lifestyle media to support and highlight their storytelling, which is an even greater lifeline as sex education and access to reproductive care are under increasing attack. We can’t wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
Give your Valentine something that helps expand access to trusted tools and advance reproductive well-being!

Congress Passes Appropriations Package

Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a package of appropriations bills that includes the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Activities (Labor-HHS) appropriations bill and its critical funding for reproductive health programs. As part of the legislative package, the House approved a continuation of funding for the Department of Homeland Security through February 13th, as negotiations are ongoing to address pervasive violence from ICE officers across the nation. This legislation now heads to the President’s desk for signature. For more, please read our statement.

Take Action: Tell Your Legislators to Rescind the Trump-Vance Administration’s Harmful VA Abortion Ban

As we shared with you last month, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) instituted a ban on abortion care and counseling–even in cases of rape or when the veteran’s health is in danger due to the pregnancy. On January 27th, Representative Brownley (D-CA) and Senator Blumenthal (D-CT) introduced legislation to undo this VA abortion ban. While the path to passage is difficult, this bill is likely to get a vote in the Senate, and it’s important that both the House and Senate hear from their constituents on the importance of undoing this abortion ban. Contact your members of Congress today and tell them to support the bill blocking the VA abortion ban.
