Over the last year, the average online contribution to my campaign was just $25.16. That’s powerful proof that when working people come together, we can take on even the most deep pocketed forces.

It’s been 16 years since the Supreme Court gave the greenlight for big money to pollute our politics with their decision in Citizens United, and the consequences have been dire. Unlimited dark money has been flooding our elections, and billionaire donors distort our democracy while working people are left struggling to make their voices heard.

And right now, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Recent federal filings are showing that a small number of moneyed interests are preparing to spend an unprecedented amount of money to control this year’s elections behind the scenes. No transparency, no accountability.
