John—We are in the middle of expanding our grassroots organizing team to turn out voters to stand up for Roe v. Wade in 2020. Will you donate to NARAL to help build our on-the-ground effort to defend abortion rights?
John,
This is the most dangerous time for abortion rights since Roe v. Wade.
If we're going to survive this outright assault on reproductive freedom, we can't just sit back and wait for voters to show up at the polls. It will take a massive, nationwide grassroots organizing effort.
That's why we've just added a major expansion to our grassroots organizing team — and to pay for these new roles, we're counting on your help. Will you make a donation?
Yes, I'll donate to help defend abortion rights and expand NARAL Pro-Choice America's grassroots organizing team going into 2020.
Here's how we're going to do it:
- We're hiring a State Director in Iowa, a key primary state for the 2020 election.
- We're hiring Regional Organizing Managers and other staff in Maine, Michigan, South Carolina, and Arizona to identify and train volunteers, move politicians on our issues, and elect pro-choice candidates.
- And in Georgia, we're hiring an Outreach Organizer to bring new folks from all backgrounds into our movement and give them the tools they need to #ReclaimGeorgia.
We're investing in our organizing capacity like never before because in 2020, Trump must go — but he's not the only anti-choice politician we have to defeat.
Nine states, including Georgia, Ohio and Utah, have passed abortion bans this year alone.1 Missouri's last abortion clinic is hanging on by a thread. The governors and state legislators behind these laws must not win reelection.
And of course, Brett Kavanaugh wouldn't be on the Supreme Court without the votes of senators like Susan Collins of Maine.
In total, we've already backed more than 70 candidates in the House and Senate — and will continue to endorse many more pro-choice champions.
The anti-choice extremists rely on dark money groups backed by mega-donors like the Koch brothers and Betsy DeVos.2 But this election won't be won by money alone. It will be won in the trenches with grassroots organizing by NARAL Pro-Choice America members like you.
Will you donate to help defend abortion rights and expand NARAL Pro-Choice America's grassroots organizing team going into 2020?
