| UPCOMING CERES EVENTS & WEBINARS | | | | | | Corporate Climate Action: A New Framework for Transparency March 5, 2026, 2pm ET Online
Companies invest in a wide range of market-based instruments such as carbon offsets and energy attribute certificates to mitigate their climate impact. However, widely used guidance for accounting and reporting greenhouse gases have not kept current with the use of these voluntary mitigation investments, creating risk for investors and hindering voluntary climate action. In September 2025, the Task Force for Corporate Action Transparency (TCAT) released new, assurance-ready guidance that addresses gaps in current corporate accounting practices and aligns with regulatory disclosure requirements. In December 2025, more than 13 companies completed a first pilot to pressure-test the usability and applicability of the
guidance.
Join Ceres and emissions reporting experts to explore how the TCAT guidance can help improve the transparency and comprehensiveness of corporate climate reporting, by enabling companies to report on the full suite of actions and instruments they are using to address their climate impact and mitigate climate risks.
| | LEAD on a Clean Economy March 17-19, 2026 Washington, D.C.
Join leading companies and investors in urging federal policymakers to prioritize market certainty and affordability as cornerstones of an advanced, clean economy. At a time when the federal government is stepping away from policies to modernize the economy and
drive clean energy growth, LEAD on a Clean Economy 2026 offers a critical opportunity to make the business case directly to congressional offices and the Trump administration. This is your chance to push for the strong policy environment needed to meet rising energy demand affordably, boost American manufacturing, strengthen rural communities, and ensure U.S. leadership in the global industries of the 21st century.
This year, we're taking an approach that we believe will make our advocacy even more powerful: we're encouraging companies to bring the people whose livelihoods depend on these policies—factory workers, plant managers, farmers, and others from your operations and supply chains.
