As we speak, Israel has banned dozens of humanitarian organisations,
blocked life-saving aid, and dismantled the last lifelines for people in
Gaza. Children are starving. Hospitals have been destroyed. Aid workers
are being killed. And Europe is still maintaining a favourable trade deal
with Israel's genocidal regime.

This is not neutrality: the EU is actively sustaining a system of violence
that UN experts say is making life “unbearable for genocide survivors in
Palestine.”

That’s why something extraordinary is happening.

In less than a week, over 300,000 Europeans have signed a European
Citizens’ Initiative demanding the suspension of the EU–Israel Association
Agreement — the legal backbone of EU–Israel trade and cooperation.

If we reach 1 million signatures, the European Commission cannot ignore
this — EU law forces a public hearing, a formal response, and a decision
it must justify in law.

This is one of the few binding tools ordinary people have to force the EU
to stop enabling atrocities.

UN and human rights experts are clear: blocking humanitarian aid, banning
NGOs, and creating conditions of mass deprivation constitute genocide.
They have warned that governments which fail to act now risk sharing
responsibility for what happens next.

is real. The pressure is building.
