It's no secret that we're living through dark times.

But I believe in keeping the hope alive, because that's what makes us fight for better. I also sincerely believe that things can get better. That's why it's always been my mission to light a candle, especially in times of darkness.

I don't mean this just in the sense of running for Congress, although it's taken on new meaning now. Ever since I was a kid, I've been someone who enjoyed making people laugh—it felt like a way we could alleviate some part of that darkness together.

Now that I have the tools to make a bigger difference and a platform that I can use for good, I am dedicated to keeping the flame alive. Because I care.

I won't hide from you, dodge your questions, or pass the blame along. There's nowhere I'd rather be than in the arena fighting for my hometown when it matters most. I'm here to listen, to show up with optimism and solutions, to take your voice to Congress, and to execute on your behalf.

I love the community that raised me, and we deserve better than what we're getting from the Trump administration. But I won't pretend like I can do this alone. I'm going to need your help. So, if there's anything you can chip in to my campaign today, I would greatly appreciate it.
