This is our opportunity to put working families first.
John, it’s no exaggeration to say that this year’s elections are some of the most important yet. Under Donald Trump’s presidency, they are a chance to really see if we’ll have leaders who will stand up to Trump in Congress.
We have two scenarios moving forward:
❌ Trump and his far-right republicans can continue to consolidate power. Trump can keep republicans AND democrats who will do his bidding in office. We’ll continue to see acts of extraordinary cruelty and hate become the norm. Our rights will continue to be eroded. Human beings will continue to be hunted down and killed. Wars will continue to be started in the name of greed.
✅ We can hold Trump and his entire administration. We can loudly show that Trump doesn’t have the support of the people. We can show leaders in office that we see them and we’re not going to let them stand by while Trump destroys our communities. We can show them that affordability, and putting working families first is a necessity to keep office and resonate with voters.
