Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
The SAVE America Act
At the start of the 119th Congress, with a Republican trifecta in Washington, the House of Representatives quickly moved to pass my bill, H.R. 22, the “Safeguard American Voter Eligibility” (SAVE) Act. The SAVE Act would require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote in federal elections. Despite widespread grassroots support, being led by Sen. Mike Lee and having 48 Senate cosponsors, this bill has not yet been voted on in the Senate.
Now, with President Trump’s backing, Sen. Lee and I have introduced H.R. 7296, the SAVE America Act, to add a voter ID requirement to the current SAVE Act and it’s requirement for proof of citizenship.
With more grassroots support behind this crucial legislation than ever, I am working to ensure quick House passage and finally a Senate vote to get this to President Trump’s desk.
Rep. Roy and Sen. Lee on the SAVE America Act: “The SAVE America Act makes our original SAVE Act better. President Trump rightly believes we should include Voter ID in this bill as we make a renewed push to secure our elections and protect the rights of American voters. By requiring Voter ID and proof-of-citizenship, the SAVE America Act will ensure that our federal elections are decided by U.S. citizens—and U.S. citizens alone.”

Amicus Brief on Birthright Citizenship
Last week, I co-wrote an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court alongside Sen. Eric Schmitt in support of President Trump’s Executive Order on birthright citizenship, which is being contested in U.S. vs. Barbara. Our amicus brief outlays the historical and legal arguments to redefine the definition of birthright citizenship to only apply to the children of U.S. citizens. We have seen millions of illegal aliens exploit the 14th Amendment to fraudulently gain citizenship for their children and we are seeing schemes for Chinese citizens to exploit our laws through surrogacy and “baby-factories.” My legislation, H.R. 6225, the PAUSE Act, which would pause immigration until certain national standards are met, includes redefining birthright citizenship as a core standard.
Rep. Roy on the Birthright Citizenship: “For decades, birthright citizenship has been misused in ways the Framers of the Fourteenth Amendment never intended. President Trump is taking the necessary steps to uphold the Constitution and restore the rule of law. I thank my friend and highly accomplished attorney Chuck Cooper for his collaboration on this amicus along with Senator Schmitt. The deep constitutional expertise and careful scholarship in this brief present the Court with a clear and historically grounded defense of the original meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

Media Corner
Joined Fox News to talk about immigration enforcement in Minnesota
Rep. Roy to Laura Ingraham: “President Trump is leading. What you saw him do today by sending Tom Homan to Minneapolis, an experienced law enforcement individual who served as the head of ICE. The President's right to call for cooler heads to prevail. The President's right to say, we don't want any bloodshed, we don't want any loss of life. The President is leading by making sure that the lives we're talking about include Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley, and Rachel Morin and all of the Americans who have lost their lives because of illegal aliens killing people here.”
"The real issue here is Democrats don't want enforcement. We saw that under Biden-Mayorkas, right? They purposely put people into our country to endanger us because they wanted political power. That's what it's all about. They admit it, right? They want it for the census."
"Democrats are going to threaten to shut down the government this week so that they can defund ICE and try to stop the enforcement of our laws. But we Republicans need to band together and say no, we're going to fund ICE one way or the other.”

Joined The Charlie Kirk Show to discuss H.R. 6225, the PAUSE Act
Rep. Roy: “There are 51 million foreign born people in the United States. That's 16.5% or so of the population. That's the highest percentage we've had in our history. That's why I introduced legislation to PAUSE immigration. We need to have a real conversation about this. But my biggest message to the Administration is stay the course. Stand up for America, put America first."
"This is not an immigration issue like it was for our parents’ generation or anything else in the 80's or even 20 years ago in the 2000's. This is not some people in Mexico who want to come over and do some work and head back to Mexico peaceably. This is an organized effort to destroy America."

Joined Blaze TV’s Unfiltered on the dangers of H-1Bs Visas
Rep. Roy with Sara Gonzales: "It is very clearly false that H-1B visas are bringing in the high skilled workers that we need. We need a wholly different approach to it. And again, I still say we need to PAUSE immigration and then figure out what we do, because if we don't remove a lot of the people who've come here, we're not going to have a country left."

Joined Newsmax to discuss the illicit funding of violent leftists
Rep. Roy with Rob Schmitt: "Whether it's George Soros, whether it's Bill Gates, whether it's United Nations funding, whether it's the long list of NGO's that are exploiting taxpayer dollars, these are all being used in a network to undermine our freedom and way of life. God bless President Trump and VP Vance for being on it."
