I wanted to share a quick update on what strong, steady leadership can deliver for our community — because this work is exactly what’s at stake in this election.

Over the past year, I’ve been focused on one simple goal: making sure Nevada gets its fair share and that federal dollars come back home to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Last week, I helped secure over $6.6 million in new federal investments for southern Nevada — bringing nearly $12 million total back to our community through this year’s funding process.

These investments will make an immediate impact, including:

• Making our roads safer — with $2 million to improve SR-159 near Red Rock and $1.1 million to protect children in more than 280 school zones
• Improving quality of life — new trail bridges, safer transit access, and shaded bus shelters to help Nevadans beat the extreme heat
• Supporting people with disabilities — $850,000 for Opportunity Village to expand services and accessibility
• Strengthening emergency response — critical upgrades to Clark County’s Emergency Operations Center and safety improvements at Harry Reid International Airport

This is what leadership looks like: listening to our community, working across the aisle, and delivering results that people can see and feel every day.

That kind of results-driven leadership is exactly why this race is so competitive — and why national Republicans are already lining up to try to flip this seat.

Early grassroots support is essential. It allows us to stay focused on delivering for our community, respond quickly to attacks, and build the strong campaign we’ll need to win.
