I’ve been thinking about why so many feel disconnected from politics, even when they care deeply about what’s happening in the world.

I think part of it is this: too often, campaigns treat people like numbers instead of partners.

This campaign is different by design.

I’m running as your neighbor, not a career politician. I believe New Yorkers deserve leaders who are present in their communities, honest about the challenges we face, and willing to fight for people who don’t have a lobbyist or a megaphone.

That means:

➡️ Taking on the affordability crisis head-on

➡️ Standing up to Donald Trump and anyone who enables him

➡️ Defending democracy without theatrics or fear-mongering

➡️ Showing up for our neighbors, especially when it’s not politically convenient

But I also want to be straightforward with you.

This is a crowded race, and one of our biggest early challenges is name recognition. In a district as politically engaged as NY-12, people pay close attention — but only once they know who you are.

That’s why early momentum matters so much.

Every contribution helps us introduce this campaign to more people online, grow our supporter base, and show that there’s real energy behind a different kind of leadership, one rooted in community, service, and accountability.
