I’ll be frank: This is a bad start to the year. Some campaigns can fall short of a goal every now and then, without it really impacting the election. Not here in CA-47. [[link removed]]

My last race? It came down to just 2 percentage points. That’s just a few thousand votes out of 350,000 total ballots. And with the NRCC clearly interested in this seat? Who knows how close the next election could be.

With everything that’s going on right now, I understand that reading about fundraising goals and deadlines isn’t exactly what you want to hear. But in order to continue that important work — holding ICE accountable, impeaching Kristi Noem, and defending our democracy — we need to win the next election. And that requires resources, plain and simple.
