The Allankay crew is now underway steaming south toward Antarctica, where Sea Shepherd will once again confront the industrial krill fleet operating in the Southern Ocean. 

Krill are the basis of life in these waters. Whales, penguins, seals, and the entire Antarctic ecosystem depend on them. Yet a rapidly growing billion dollar industry is extracting krill at industrial scale, largely for pet food and nutritional supplements, far from public view.

Beginning today, Sea Shepherd will release one new Antarctica mission video every week, giving supporters an unprecedented near real-time look aboard the Allankay as the crew documents what is happening on the frontlines.
