BJS recaps January 2026 news and activities  [ [link removed] ]

In January 2026, BJS released two new reports: "Health and Wellness
Resources Available to Law Enforcement, 2022" and "Human Trafficking
Data Collection Activities, 2025". BJS also updated two data tools: the
Law Enforcement Agency Reported Crime Analysis Tool (LEARCAT)
and the Recidivism Patterns Explorer, formerly known as the Prisoner
Recidivism Analysis Tool (PRAT). Finally, BJS issued its 2026
publications and products calendar and six notices of funding
opportunities for various program areas.
