Hi friend,
After two ICE killings in the streets of Minneapolis, we remain resolved to keep the proposed ICE detention facility out of the Hudson Valley.

Last week, we saw a huge crowd of people gather in Chester to fight back. To show that we will fight for our constitution and our humanity. To show that if the Trump Administration wants to mess with the Hudson Valley, he’ll have to go through us. To show that we can, and will, win. You can watch our full event video here. Thank you for being in this fight alongside me.

What I’m doing: As federal immigration enforcement has sparked national outrage — including the recent murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, the separation of families, and the terror inflicted on communities across the country — I’m making sure our voice here in the Hudson Valley is heard loud and clear. I launched a petition opposing the Trump administration’s plan to convert a warehouse in Chester into an ICE detention facility, because the abuses we’ve seen elsewhere, including overcrowding, reports of poor conditions, and deadly confrontations involving federal agents, have no place in our community. More than 20,000 residents have already signed this petition, and I’m bringing this opposition directly to Washington so federal officials cannot ignore it.
I’m working with local leaders and residents to ensure any proposal that could bring those same harms here is blocked. We will not let the Hudson Valley become a site for the kind of mass detention camps and federal overreach that are tearing communities apart elsewhere.
What you can do: Join the movement opposing this facility. Add your name to the petition if you haven’t already, [[link removed]] speak up at town meetings, and share your concerns with state and federal officials. Keep the pressure up. And keep ICE out of the Hudson Valley.

What I’m doing: Kristi Noem must be impeached and removed. I’ve cosponsored articles of impeachment and have been leading the push to rally support. As Homeland Security Secretary, she has made us anything but safe—unleashing terror and murder in our streets, deporting U.S. veterans, breaking into people’s homes, and lying about it all. She is a danger to us all and she must be removed.
What you can do: Demand accountability. Contact your representatives and tell them you support removing Noem for the sake of our national security. Stay informed, share credible reporting, and do not accept spin in place of truth. We will not accept the federal government trampling over our rights.
Going on offense

ICE cannot and will not be allowed to get away with this. They’re killing people in the streets and trampling our constitutional rights. We, the Patriotic Majority, will win, but only if we continue to fight for it.
Keep the faith, keep up the fight, and thank you for reading!
In Solidarity,
Pat
