Speakers explored the counselling techniques aimed at convincing migrants to cooperate with a return order and what approaches may be needed to meaningfully engage with migrants of different backgrounds. They also discussed the importance of partnerships with NGOs and trusted origin-country actors early in the return and reintegration process and what could be done to improve the effectiveness of reintegration supports.
