Hey Everyone,

Thank you for all your resistance efforts this past week. We hope that you have been checking in on your neighbors during this deep freeze and lending a helping hand where you can. Building community and looking out for each other is how we live our values and work toward a better world.

Please mark your calendars and plan to bring friends and family to our next No Kings event on Saturday, March 28th. We will release more details closer to the event. In the meantime, we will keep you informed about other protests and rallies as information becomes available.

Actions you can take this week:
* MORAL MONDAYS IN GEORGETOWN - FEB 2ND
Join Georgetown Resistance for a weekly protest at Scott County Courthouse (101 E. Main St in Georgetown) from 4:45 p.m until 5:45 p.m. The group asks that you bring non-confrontational, positive signs focused on issues. You can join their private Facebook group ([link removed]) for updates.
* FLIP THE 6TH IN 2026 - FEB 2ND
Join Progress Kentucky for their Flip the 6th in 2026 Lexington Volunteer Night at the West Sixth Barrel Room (501 W Sixth St. in Lexington) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
* DEMOCRACY HOLLER - FEB 3RD
Join the League of Women Voters of Lexington, NAACP Lexington-Fayette County chapter, and Gathering for Democracy for Democracy Holler happy hour at The Elkhorn Tavern (1200 Manchester St. in Lexington) from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
* FLIP THE 6TH IN 2026 - FEB 7TH
Join Progress Kentucky for their Flip the 6th in 2026 Madison County Volunteer Event at the Richmond Apollo Pizza (228 South Second Street in Richmond) from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
* PEACEFUL BLUEGRASS RESISTANCE PROTESTS
Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance is doing roadside protests multiple days per week and sometimes more than once per day! To get involved, sign up on their website ([link removed]) .
* CALL YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
Call your members of Congress and let them know how you feel about topics that most concern you. The Indivisible website's section Take Action Now ([link removed]) and the 5 Calls website ([link removed]) provide up-to-date talking points and information.
