Ever since Trump’s lying spokesperson Karoline Leavitt ran here and lost badly in 2022, MAGA has been obsessed with settling the score. They want revenge. They want control. And they want this seat. They picked the wrong district. And the wrong fight. This is who I am. First generation Latino American. First in my family born in the United States. An international law and human rights attorney who held war criminals to account. An Army officer who serves as a public defender for our soldiers. An appointee of President Biden at the Pentagon. A proud husband to a small business owner. At a moment when Miller and Noem demonize immigrants every single day, being Latino and first generation carries extra weight.
