Something real and powerful is happening right now.

Nancy Pelosi retired after 38 years in Congress. Steny Hoyer, the
longest-serving House Democrat, is stepping down. All across the country,
older leaders are recognizing the need for the new generation to take
their turn. We’re grateful for their decades of service and are grateful
that they are passing the torch to the next generation of game-changing
leaders.

This is what we’ve been demanding for years. This is what an
intergenerational movement looks like in action.

While we’re ready to see younger faces in office, here’s what I know:
Leaders We Deserve wouldn’t exist without older Americans who are fed up
with the status quo and ready for something better.

Some of our strongest grassroots supporters are decades older than the
candidates we’re endorsing. But they remember being young, feeling
unrepresented while fighting for reproductive justice, Civil Rights,
democracy — before many of us were even born.

These are the same battles we’re in now, and our supporters are showing up
and making damn sure this generation has a real shot.

This movement is not about young vs. old. It’s about progress. It’s about
fighters vs. folders. Electing leaders who will stand up to current
injustices and not give up the moment their donors become uncomfortable.

As the older generation steps aside, we only have a narrow window to elect
young, bold leaders to fill these seats — and we can’t afford to waste it.
We're supporting candidates like Zohran Mamdani, who is already delivering
on his campaign promises just a few weeks into his term. We’re hitting
college campuses to recruit young progressives. We’re doing the long-term
work.

To do this work, we rely on the individual contributions of supporters
like you — people of all ages ready for a new wave of politics.

When a third of the country is Gen Z or Millennial but we barely have a
