Last month, the odds of winning this election were stacked against us. Republicans had threatened to rig our elections and redraw TX-35 to give themselves an advantage, and people just didn’t think that a Democrat could win.

Republicans redrew our district, but that didn’t stop us. They didn’t think a Democratic campaign could pick up like this, but they didn’t know about our campaign.

Here in South Texas, we’re no strangers to beating the odds. I’m a San Antonio native and Marine Corps veteran who won’t shy away from a fight like this one.
