Dear Community Partners,
You may have seen news about ongoing congressional negotiations to avoid a partial federal government shutdown. I wanted to share a brief update ahead of the weekend.
If Congress does not reach an agreement by midnight on January 30, a partial federal government shutdown will begin. At this time, there are no known impacts to DSHS programs or operations, and we do not expect any immediate funding impacts on the services we provide.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and communicate if that assessment changes.
