John,

The minimum wage in Rhode Island is officially up to $16 an hour. Next year it will go up to $17 an hour. This was a priority for Governor Dan McKee because he knows that anyone working full-time deserves to be making a living wage.

Raising the minimum wage is just one big win for working families here in Rhode Island, alongside:

  • Returning $40 million to families through the Child Tax Rebate
  • Eliminating the car tax
  • Expanding HOPE scholarships

If you want a Governor who will always put working families first, please consider chipping in to Governor McKee's re-election campaign today. Our end-of-month deadline is less than 36 hours away, and we're still short of our grassroots goal.
