What ICE is doing right now should infuriate the hell out of all of us.
Federal ICE agents are killing civilians, terrorizing families, and handcuffing children. Kids. A five year old used as bait. A six month old nearly killed after agents tear gassed a family’s car. American citizens shot dead in the street for daring to look out for their neighbors.
And what did Nancy Mace do?
She cracked jokes, said nothing about the people who were killed,and voted to keep funding ICE. That tells you everything you need to know.
I have been clear about where I stand. ICE has become a rogue agency. Governors have a responsibility to protect their people when the federal government refuses to do so.
That stance has put a spotlight on this campaign. People are watching to see if we mean it, and whether we have the backing to fight back.
