Tell TikTok: "Don't Block Anti-Trump Content"Users complained they were barred from posting even the word "Epstein" in private messages."(Click to go directly to action | Go to Substack page to discuss & for other actions) This is disturbing:
TikTok has a HUGE user base in the US, and for many of them, it is their primary source of news. So this is a big deal, big enough that Governor Newsom has announced an investigation to determine whether TikTok is breaking California state law. TikTok itself denies there was targeted censorship, saying the problems were the result of a “power outage” at a data center. Which seems rather odd, given that the issues were overwhelmingly with anti-Trump & Trump-related content. Still, we’ll take them at their word for now — but let them know that we’ll be watching closely, and trusting that their power centers will avoid censorship and partisan bias in the future. 💥 Want to help make the magic happen? 👉 Become a paid subscriber today: |
