Little Texan Saving Fund
I love President Trump’s idea, Trump Accounts, to give every child born in America a Trump account with $1,000 invested in the S&P 500. Following President Trump’s 2025 announcement, I announced that next session, I will pass the “Little Texan Savings Fund,” giving children born in Texas an additional $1,000 invested in the S&P 500. That’s a total of $2,000 for every child born in Texas.
There are approximately 400,000 children born in Texas each year. I believe it’s a fantastic way to return money back to taxpayers, helping young families begin their savings journey, and teaching the power of investing to Texas’ next generation.
Family members will also be able to add an additional $5,000 per year if they choose.
Keeping Texas Red in Llano County
On Thursday, I had the privilege of speaking at the Llano County Conservatives PAC Candidate Symposium at Sandstone Mountain Ranch. It was great to be with like-minded conservatives committed to keeping Texas red!
I brought along John Wayne’s vest from Tall in the Saddle and Rio Bravo for the “Duke” fans to try on. Harold didn’t want to give it back. It’s always fun.
My Hero
Bonnie Wallace is my hero. I met her years ago in Llano. She politely stopped me in the middle of a meeting and said we must get these dirty books out of our schools and public libraries. She was one of the first to find them. There was pure pornography in our schools and in the kids' section of our public libraries. They were worse than any parent could imagine. I could not even show a single page from the books in this email.
Bonnie fought through the courts for years and, in December of 2025, won her case to remove these books. She hasn’t stopped. She’s always working to protect families from the radical left.
Honored to Stand with Texas Law Enforcement
On Tuesday, I had the honor of joining the Texas Police Chiefs Association at their Houston Area Chiefs Meeting. I was privileged to speak and accept an award recognizing my leadership and commitment to law enforcement. It was a pleasure connecting with so many dedicated public servants and showing my support for those who keep our communities safe.
