As we kick off the 2026 election season, I want to talk about one thing — the power of young voters in shaping our future. Even when progress doesn’t happen the way we hoped, showing up still matters. And that’s exactly what we saw from young voters in North Carolina [[link removed]] recently.
Students and young people packed the State Board of Elections meeting, speaking with energy, purpose, and clarity about why early voting access and campus polling sites are so critical to voter participation.
Young voters are paying attention and ready to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
This year, voters will decide 35 U.S. Senate seats, all 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, 36 gubernatorial races, 31 lieutenant governor races, 30 attorney general seats, 26 secretary of state races, and so much more.
