The good news? The programs are working. Since 2014, Deworm the World has delivered over 2.2 billion treatments, generating an estimated $23 billion in lifetime productivity gains.
In Kenya, prevalence has dropped 82% — with elimination in sight by 2027. In India, several states have achieved elimination as a public health problem.
We know how to solve this. What we're losing is the resources to finish the job.
