This spring, we will be offering two High Net Wealth Praxis tracks. Both cohorts will focus on Transformative Redistribution, but one will have a Solidarity Economy lens.
What is High Net Wealth Praxis? Praxis is a virtual political education program for cohorts of young people with access to more than 1M in liquid assets or with influence over family assets of at least 10M.
In HNW Praxis, you will: -
Cultivate a network of peers with similar levels of assets and explore questions that are specific to being owning class: How much is enough? For me and for the world? How do I redistribute without spending all my time on philanthropy? Where does paid work fit into my life? How do I engage my family around redistribution? How can I show up to the social justice movement while holding and owning all of my identities?
- Receive three coaching sessions from a professional money coach for support in carrying out your action plan.
- Explore different giving models (What is a DAF? What is an intermediary? Do I need to start a foundation?) and deepen your skills and capacity to implement a social justice strategy in your giving.
- Participate, alongside RG members, in social movements, and learn about RG's national campaign partners, the Movement for Black Lives and the Center for Popular Democracy.
- Create an action plan for your redistribution, family organizing, and solidarity economy investments
-
Solidarity Economy HNW Praxis participants will focus on the same skills and outcomes outlined above, but will be focused on how to support solidarity economy movements with investments, giving, and time.
High Net Wealth Praxis will run from April 2026 to October 2026. The meetings will be biweekly on Zoom for 90 minutes.

| RG Bay Area - Housing Campaign |
Over the past year, the BARG Housing Campaign raised $549K to liberate land in Yelamu/San Francisco, so that POOR Magazine can turn it into permanent rent-free housing for unhoused community members. 14+ BARG members and alumni showed up alongside POOR Magazine community, Solidarity Family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate at the Opening Ceremony of the “triangle lot” AKA Homefulness 4 on January 24th. |

| Hello from the City of Angels! In 2026, we’re thrilled to say that we’ve already hit the ground sprinting.
Last summer, RGLA launched a solidarity campaign with the L.A. Chinatown Community Land Trust to fundraise for Chinatown’s first community-owned, permanently affordable housing. Due to the incredible work of our fundraising and organizing teams—and some killer events!—we were able to eviscerate our fundraising goal by over $100,000 for a grand total of $550,000 from 98 individual donors! This money can be used for future real estate acquisitions, and will help us for more grants down the line.
We will be celebrating this massive win along with the LACCLT with a karaoke wrap party at the Damnoen Saduak Night Market in Chinatown on February 22nd between 6-9PM!
While the campaign’s been moving forward, we’ve also been building out our organizing base in LA. Last weekend, 20 RGLA members participated in our first retreat of 2026. We had many informative organizing discussions concerning our work for the rest of the year, and were able to speak with David Levitus, executive director of LA Forward, about the scope of this year’s various elections and ballot measures, and how RGLA could utilize our membership to push an agenda of equality and justice.
We’re grateful for the work we’ve been able to accomplish thus far. In the national landscape, this year has been a bitter and infuriating one. That’s why it’s more important than ever to keep organizing and keep fighting! |

It's getting cold, but our organizing is still going hot! In December, our Abolition Circle supported a chapter partner, the Release Aging People in Prison, in fundraising for their anti-gala. We have 3 praxis groups meeting regularly through winter. Finally, members have been showing up to anti-ICE & anti-war actions in solidarity with our neighbors and partners. |
