A better way to walk and cycle — tell us what you think

Oldham Council is developing plans to improve the walking and cycling route between Broadway and Rochdale Canal, creating a safer, greener and more accessible link between Chadderton and Middleton, and your views are needed.

By upgrading paths, adding lighting, seating and signage and enhancing connections to local schools, workplaces and community facilities, the Broadway to Canal Link aims to make active travel easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

We'd like to hear how you currently travel in the area, any issues you experience and the improvements you’d like to see. Your feedback will help shape the final design and ensure the route meets local needs.

The Broadway to Canal Link: Improving Walking and Cycling Connections survey runs until Friday 6 March.
