How do you like to start your day, friend?

I find that a workout + a strong cup of coffee = the perfect morning.

Today, while I enjoy my first cup, I thought I’d send you a quick update on where things stand on our end-of-month goal.

The momentum behind our campaign is incredible. Folks like you are chipping in what you can, when you can, and it’s having a real, immediate impact.

But the bad news: Support has tapered off over the past couple of days right as we're approaching Saturday's end-of-month fundraising goal.

And this is right as we are about to launch our first ads on the air.

This campaign is powered by grassroots supporters – which means my ability to fight back depends on you. To make sure these attacks don't slow our momentum, I need you to make your first donation to my campaign before midnight. That's why I'm personally asking: Will you chip in $5 or any amount to help us reach my end-of-month fundraising goal and raise what we need to keep our ads running across North Texas?
